From Tuesday 28th Kranjska Gora and Ajdovščina were visited by two representatives of the European Cycling Union (UEC) - secretary general Roland Hofer and Mountain bike commission president Thierry Marechal who will act as the Technical delegate at the 2009 Championships at both venues.

The guests met with both organizers and visitied the courses and infrastructure.

"We are very happy with everything we have seen here. Both tracks are very good and the organizers are experienced. They both also have good local support so I am confident that we will experience excellent events," told Mr. Hofer.
