List of registered riders is long and full of interesting names. There are total of 367 riders from 27 countries registered for both elite/junior championships and master championships (76 riders).
We are very glad to say that national teams are sending their strongest riders, but the team that stands out has to be national team of Great Britain. In the race for the European title the Brits will compete with current World Cup leader Steve Peat, reigning World Champion Gee Atherthon, Brendan Fairclough, Mark Beaumont, Josh Bryceland and of course Tracy Moseley. Tracy will compete against strong French team with World Cup leader Sabrina Jonnier, Emmeline Ragot, Floriane Pugin and Myriam Nicole. Next to them start list is full of top names from the World Cup circuit and some less know riders representing countries from all over Europe.
In agreement with European cycling federation riders from other countries can also participate in the race, for now just a few riders from Australia and New Zealand applied. Full list of registered riders is published under section ‘Documents/Registered riders’. |
