Based on times from seeding run we usually got the start list for finals. However, now the start order for timed run and final run will be the same, with the highest ranked rider starting last. Some riders 'abused' seeding run to get early start on finals in case of possible bad weather. This was also bad for TV broadcast, since in some cases top riders didn't came in the finish last. Now the top riders will start last and there will be no speculations. Everybody will have to go full-trotle all the way.
New rule will be used for the first time on Hit European Championships in Kranjska Gora and then later in the season on MTB World Championships in Australia.
